My BFF bought a whole bunch of glass only to find out her daycare didn't allow glass. So when she went back to work, she had to buy a whole bunch of plastic too.
Personally I prefer glass, but registered for plastic because LO will be in daycare

It's a personal decision. We used the Evenflo glass nursers. We didn't have any problems with them. I put them in the dishwasher on the hot water cycle and they came out nice and clean. And my DD never had a problem with gas, etc.

DD used the wide mouth Nuk bottles. They were easy to clean and didn't have a bunch of parts.

If your lo will go to daycare - many don't allow glass- just something to consider if that's something you will need to know :-)
with that said - we use playtex drop ins - lo had trouble with gas & these worked best for us. We tried tommee ti
