Disagree with DH about sleep training

So DD is 6 months old. Up until now she's been a good sleeper. This week she has a little cold, plus I went back to work 3 weeks ago & so she is more needy to fall asleep & stay asleep. She ends up in our bed 2-3 hours a night. I thought I could get away not needing to sleep train- wrong!

Anyway- I never thought I'd co-sleep before I had a baby & now I actually like it. I'm not married to it though because DH isn't for it. The biggest disagreement is the old CIO. He wants to, I do not. I read the no-cry sleep solution & that's more my style.

How did you resolve disagreeing about sleep training?

Always go with the more gentle approach first. Give it a solid 2 weeks. If it doesn't work... The compromise is CIO.

ahahaha- yes ladies- you are correct that he has done no research & has no clue! he's a good guy though, so I think he'll come around. thanks for the support.
