We currently have a thermometer that you scan across LO's forehead, but it doesn't seem to be too accurate all the time. Plus LO is a pain to use it on! What do you use?
I second the Exergen Temporal Thermometer. It is easy to use and I usually do a couple of swipes across the forehead and average out the readings (they are usually pretty close and accurate though).
We use the exergen temporal thermometer as well. It is pretty accurate! They will vary by a few points of a degree, but it always registers if she has a temperature.

We use the kind that you stick in LO's ear. It works great. We pretend we're talking on the telephone with it just before sticking it into his ear.
