Crystal deodorant users a ?

I just bought some crystal ddeodorant today and I'm wondering if there is a break in period. I've noticed that several people have mentioned the natural deodorant takes some time to get used to or for your pits to get used to and I was wondering if anyone noticed the same thing with crystals.  So far it is working for me but I haven't done any hard work and I'm kinda stuffed up anyway.

It works great for me, even in summer, but I put on a lot.

I found I had to add a few drops of an essential oil like blue cypress for it to work all day. Recently I just skip the crystal all together and used a few drops of sandalwood oil. It actually works better for me than the crystal.

I've read (I wish I could remember the source so that I could cite it for you) that only about 60% of the population actually stops smelling (stinky) when using a non-antiperspirant/natural deodorant, unfortunately. You really have to do your research and potentially try a few brands before you find one that works for you! I do use (and love) the Ava Anderson brand (I also sell it, because I've come to love their entire nontoxic line) - per their user studies, 100% of their users responded well to it, it eliminated body odor in 100% of them! I was sold on that statistic alone And it smells like a thin mint girl scout cookie too

The first few days were fine and then I had a couple of weeks that I was stinky... And then it started working great! So for me personally, there were 2 weeks that I needed to reapply in the middle of the day and it kind of worked, and it was inconvenient and discouraging, but I am happy I stuck with it. I did hear from this board that it may take some time so I was prepared to give Crystal a chance and it worked. Tom's or Jason on the other hand do not work for me so different brands do have different results with everyone. I use the roll-on Crystal deodorants and I like the pomegranate one the best.
