Birthday Parties

Party menu

My daughter's birthday is in a month--and the menu has been the biggest pain--I am trying to avoid all of her allergens, while keeping the guests happy food wise. It is during lunch time.

Lunch:

veggie trays done as Sesame Street characters

hot dogs in crescent rolls

pizza balls

cold cut platter/cheese/bread to have the guests make their own sandwiches.

mustard/ketchup/russian dressing

dessert:

nut free/egg free ice cream cake

pretzel tray (philly pretzel company)

fruit

My daughter has egg, peanut and sesame seed allergies--and I didn't want to risk a reaction from her on her birthday, so I was trying to make the whole menu safe for her--that way if she accidentally ate something-I didn't have to worry.

Re: Party menu

  • Sounds good to me; I'd add a few chips because everyone loves chips (unless they may cointain peanuts)

  • I think that sounds fine.  We did a Sesame Street party last year and had Goldfish crackers too, since Elmo has Dorothy the goldfish.
