1st Trimester

Second time around Completly different!

I was just wondering for women on their second pregnancy what differences have you noticed so far? My symptoms are completely night and day from my last. With my first I was nauseous all the time, puking, wanting salty foods and pickles, and feeling like I needed to eat constantly. I am almost 11 weeks with this one and I had hardly any nausea which that is gone all together now, I was spotting last month which I had no bleeding in my last, I don't feel like I need to stuff my face with food, and I want sweet stuff, my fav being strawberries and apple juice. I am wondering if this means we will be having a girl this time with the extreme differences. As long as the baby is healthy is all that matters really though but the differences so far are exciting and new. I'm loving it!

  • I felt better the first time around, minus the progesterone supplement headaches. I had a girl so maybe this one is a boy!! Haha

  • My first two pregnancies were night and day different. (No symptoms with 1st. Nausea, bloating and migraines from day 1 with 2nd.) I think the second pregnancy decided to make up for the first. I had two full semesters of nausea. Fun!

    Both girls!

  • Already having some nausea and headaches :( Didn't have that with my first.

  • I had two identical pregnancies and my kids are the opposite sex. Unfortunately the sex of our baby is unrelated to symptoms.

  • I feel about the same as when I was pregnant with DD - ridiculously tired and nauseous all day.  I don't mind though, as the other two pregnancies that ended in m/c I didn't have these symptoms at all.  My dr says feeling sick is a good sign and

  • I'm only slightly different with this little peanut. I had very minor sickness with my almost 3 year old little man, and this one I had afternoon/evening sickness for 2 weeks. I'm showing already (8wks5days) and feel extremely pregnant with this one. No c

  • This one is very different from my first also. With DS I threw up a lot more but with this one I feel a lot worse. I didn't have fatigue with DS and with this one I am barely functioning. I had terrible sciatica pain with DS and haven't had any with this

  • The biggest difference I'm noticing is more bloating this time.  I'm only 4 weeks along and I already look like I did at 4 months with my last pregnancy.  I've heard you grow faster with your second pregnancy, but I didn't think it was this
