Ok so I am not very good at is LMP situation and that's how everyone estimates due dates, including the dr. Since I was not on the pill my period fluctuated...about 3 weeks ago I thought maybe im pregnant bc of the way things like French fries smelled to me. I waited it out to see if I'd get my period to no avail. Took test 2 weeks ago this sunday and I pretty much new before I took it that I was pregnant. So last Saturday I went and saw my dr. She did an exam and said she thought I was 6 weeks and that would probably make the due date around thanksgiving week. She wanted to do an ultrasound today to see exactly how far along I was etc. so had 2 ultrasounds done and she said it was so tiny I must just be pregnant ans that I would have to come back in 2 weeks ..I'm just confused as to how I think I must be 6/7 weeks and she just thinks I'm about 5 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else?oh and they still charged me 400$ and will probably only have to do one in two weeks so it should only be 200$.....

I get what your saying however I think my LMP was 3/1 so when I type that date in tat brings me to 7 weeks. Shouldn't we be able to tell me at 7? I think I'm just freaking myself out that something could be wrong. I did see the tiny flicker heartbeat but

LMP only work if you have perfect 28 day cycles and ovulate on day 14...while it is the average it doesn't work for everyone. You said your periods were not regular since you are not on the pill, so it makes sense your dates could be off. I measured 6 day

It can be very scary, but you probably just ovulated late. It's very common, try not to worry :

Maybe your smell symptom 3 weeks ago was associated with ovulation and not pregnancy. So you got your bfp about 2 weeks after that, this past Sunday, which would make you about 5 weeks now. Makes sense to me.
