As long as we're on the topic of gross motor skills...

When do babies usually start to take steps when you hold them in standing?  Just curious.  DD likes to take marching-like steps with her right leg - it's like she wants to move but just can't figure it out haha!

Taking steps while standing is actually a reflex while they are very young, and they have to sort of relearn it as they age. My FB started taking steps while we stood her up around 6 or 7 months I believe.
