Hey, it's been a while since I've been on here. But here's what is going on: I've had the Mirena for about 7 months. I've had no problems so far. I also haven't had a period yet I'm breastfeeding too. Lately I have been having pregnancy symptoms, frequent urination, weight gain, nausea, sensitivity to smells, cramps, all that fun stuff. Also my husband couldn't feel the strings before and now he can sometimes. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and it came up negative. Should I take another test? It's hard to tell cause I don't get my period. Has anyone had a similar experience?
I would call my doctor, but I currently don't have insurance. Should I go in anyway and just pay out of pocket?
Re: pregnant with Mirena?
Yes, I know that. I will probably
Not to hijack a thread, but where do you get these great deals on pregnancy tests? I feel like I'm getting ripped off at the drugstore.
I bought a 25 pack of Wondfo HPT strips on Amazon for $12 and test every couple of months.
Between breastfeeding and Mirena it is not unusual to have not had a period. As PP said, the symptoms you describe are pretty typical not only for Mirena,
