how many things do I need to put my baby in?

I feel like I could fill my small house just with gear to put my baby in...when it will probably be held or put on the floor a lot! This is what I am thinking of putting on my registry...tell me if I am being unreasonable, but keep in mind my house is SMALL. 

1 type of seat (bouncy, swinging, etc)

1 pack and play type thing

1 stroller

1 high chair

1 crib

1 baby carrier (ergo or boba) 

 

does that seem like it would cover all my bases?

Looks good to me . I suggest if you don't get some of that stuff off your registry to look at places like Craigslist for things like the carrier, pack and play and swing . If you can find a good deal on a crib that's great too but buy your own mattress. Y

If you don't have a lot of space, instead of a traditional high chair you might want to go for a seat+tray that straps onto an existing chair depends on if you have a regular chair you are willing to give us). And car seat.

Looks good to me, although I probably will add a RocknPlay to your list, and perhaps hold OFF the PacknPlay.

The RnP was invaluable during the first few weeks of DS's life, as he wouldn't sleep in his crib at night.  Newborns love the cozy f

I think like pp stated you can probably do without the pnp if you don't plan on traveling.
I will say as they get mobile it is nice to have a pnp to confine LO when you are in the shower.

In my experience: you never know. As PP said, I would go with the strap on a chair type high chair, and a combo bouncy seat/swing. My DS has had a preference for each "holding" option, but at different stages. For the first few months it was the bouncy se

Why do you need a pack and play? Also, you can wait to buy a highchair until later when the baby will actually use it.
