Girl moms - Mary Jane style shoes?

Does anyone else have a hard time fitting Mary Jane style shoes on their girls? DD2 does not have the cute little chubby baby feet by any stretch, but I cannot seem to squeeze her feet into Mary Jane styles. I've tried probably a dozen different pair, in the size she is currently wearing and the next size up, and they just don't fit her. I'm sad because they are all so cute!

Anyone else find this is a problem even without chubby feet? It's just that style, I have no problem getting her into any other type of shoe.

Maybe try a wide in just the MJ style of shoes?

We have and love our stride rite Wide width black MJs.... Def suggest getting wide.

We never found a pair that fit DD just right.  Her feet were to narrow and they were always too big.

DD has a wide foot. She fits great into the Striderite wide mary janes.
