7 1/2 week ultrasound

Has anyone had an early ultrasound? I'm just wondering what to expect. I went to my doctor today for severe nausea and he wanted me to schedule an ultrasound before I even have my first prenatal appointment.

You should be able to see the heartbeat by then, maybe hear it? I had my first one today, but I was too early for the heartbeat. Did see a good sac and yolk though.

I had one right at 7 weeks for previous losses.  We saw a tiny little tadpole and the little flicker of the heartbeat.

I had mine for the purpose of dating. I went in at what I thought was 8 weeks but ended up measuring 7 weeks 2 days. The doctor was not concerned and said it happens quite often.  It will most likely be a vaginal u/s and you will probably be able to
