I just went to the pharmacy to pick up the folic acid and prenatal prescription my doctor called in and because its a named brand my insurance says it will cost $50 a month for prenatal's. I said wow I wasn't expecting that, I will just go to Walmart and pick some up. The pharmacist was kind of rude and said well you wont get everything you need there these having everything you need.
Bottom line, I don't mind paying 50 a month if that is the best thing to do. What does everything here take? I put a call in to my doctor to see what she says.

If the vitamins are called "Prenatals" then they should already have folic acid in them. My doctor told me you want to get at least 800mcg of folic acid.

My Ovulation Chart
Throughout each pregnancy and in between I have only taken my regular daily women's multi, plus additional calcium citrate +D, Folic Acid (400mcg) and DHA 200mg. My OB said this was perfectly fine as long as the vitamin A content was not 100% daily val
The nurse practitioner called and said she understood $50 a month was a lot and she suggested that I take a plant based prenatal such as source of life.
Guess I am going to the vitamin store to find this after work.

I just finished my gummy prenatals so now I'm taking the NatureMade prenatals from Costco.
I took the NatureMade Prenatals with DD too and she was perfectly healthy.
My doctor said these were perfectly fine.
