homeschooling in NYS

anyone have experience homeschooling in NYS? any advice? i have been checking out the website and they seem to want a lot of paperwork each year and I dont want to screw it up!

    We're moving to NY in 2 months. My son is an infant so we won't have to deal with the paperwork for awhile, but my least favorite thing about where we're moving is definitely how stringent the homeschooling laws are.
