EASY convertible carseat for Grandma?

My mom wants to buy a car seat for her car. The only thing she cares about is that it's easy--easy to install, easy for DD to get into by herself, and easy to buckle (she doesn't have a lot of strength in her wrists). Any suggestions?

  • My mom has a Cosco Scenera, and loves it.

I should also add, the carseat will be for my older DD, so it will be forward facing.

  • I agree that this carseat will probably be your best bet. My company gives these away for free and we used it on an airplane a while ago.

It can be forward or rear facing, is very easy to buckle, and it's light weight so it's easy for her to put

  • Take a look at the Evenflo Secure Kids 400.  It's a combo harness to booster seat like the Nautilus but it's super light and has the SureLatch connectors that are extremely simple to install.
