Babies: 6 - 9 Months

7.5 mos. and hungry at 3am! HELP

My DD eats dinner (mostly formula; she is not taking to solids much) around 6:30 and then we start her bedtime routine.  She is usually asleep by 7:30-7:45.  Then, at 3 or so, she wakes up starving and sucks down 8-10 ounces.  When I try to put her back down she screams and will only fall asleep on me.  How can we break her of this habit??  HELP!

  • Have you looked into dream feeding?  I haven't tried it, but I've heard it works.  You could try doing it at 9:30 or 10:00 at night, just before you go to bed.
