Potential VBAC

My dr will not allow for a VBAC if I do not go into labor on my own. So, we are scheduling a RCS for 41 weeks in hopes I will go into labor prior to that. I decided on 41 weeks as opposed to 40 weeks to give myself some extra time to go into labor. If not, a CS it is. I'm happy with that and keeping an open mind about it. Not sure if it matters, but P was right on time!

No. It was simply something we discussed at my appt this morning. They are proVBAC and we discuss it at every appointment. Good luck to you! I'm mobile, how far along are you?

I think giving yourself until 41 weeks to go into labor on your own is great! I hope you're able to have the VBAC you want.

I am going to be attempting a VBAC as well, my docs haven't said anything to me yet about how long they would let me go but I imagine that might come up at next week's appt 28 wks.

I really hope we are all able to do it successfully!

My Linc was a product of a failed VBAC.  Had him scheduled and my water broke 10 days early.  I went into hard/fast labor and flew to 7 centimeters, got stuck, got a fever and c/s it was.  Jackson was a RSC and came right on time.

That sounds like how it was going to go for me too w/ DD.  Only DD was measuring small and then they started threatening i'd have to have repeat c/s.  So throughout the entire pregnancy a vbac was never actually approved but i was a good cand
