Saw the musical last night.

The music was good, but the story was just meh.  Lot's of angsty punk kids mad at the world for no good reason.

But it was only 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission and it went by really fast.  

I would recommend it if you like Green Day music, but not a must see show.

    DH mentioned wanting to see it but quickly changed his mind once I told him the plot basically follows all their anti-government songs. I think I would be pretty sick of it by the end of the show haha

    I mean, it wasn't terrible and luckily this was written during the Bush Administration and they made that very clear, but the story was just kind of sad and depressing.

    But the lead characters had great voices.
