Baths are easier with a little tiny baby - they get pretty slippery. I would usually only do it with DH to assist in getting DS in and out. That said, it's very relaxing for both of you and good skin to skin.
We have a built in chair in our shower. We usually let LO shower w us every couple of days. We clean ourselves first then just sit down with him the rest of the time. He loves the water.
