hmm why doesn't he wake up?

My little guy sleeps way to well. i really wish he would just wake up every three hours to eat like he is suppose to.  It's 5 hours now and he is still happily sleeping. I have tried waking him up in the past to eat but he just falls asleep.  Unfortunately he will wake up every 3 hours in the middle of the night.
