We started the process to adopt our third (and final) child, and well, that means we will be moving to a minivan! So we have narrowed our search to the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona and the Toyota Sienna.
Do you have one of these? If so, can you tell me what the pros and cons of your car are?
Thanks!
Re: Mini vans...
I don't have one but I have heard the Honda is the highest rated as far as safety goes.
Well i can give you my thoughts on all 3. We have the honda. It rides very nice and is comfortable. I don't like that the rear hatch doesn't have and automatic open unless you want the touring. It doesn't show outside temp. Otherwise it is pretty comparable to the toyota, which my parents have.
The Kia a friend of a friend has and after just a couple of years they feel like it is falling apart. I don't know details but they just don't feel it is well made.
I think if we were to buy a mini van again we probably would go with the sienna.
We love our Odyssey. ?It does show the outside temperature-- not sure why the pp's does not? ?I've never felt like I needed the back hatch to open automatically. ?It's nice to have that for the side doors, because I usually have my arms full of baby when I need those open, but I'm not usually holding them when I open the back door.
I really like how easy it is to rearrange the seating in the back. ?It's so easy to fold the 3rd row into the floor, and we've had the 2nd row seats in various positions to suit whatever arrangement we needed at the time.?
I think it's comparable to the Sienna. ?I just liked the look of the Odyssey better.?
