Second children are so much harder to name...

We are TTC child #2 so have started talking names (I have posted a few times recently).  I think we have it narrowed down to two girl and boy names.  I was just curious what everyone's favorites were.  DS is Ames Wesley. Thanks!

 

Boys:  

John (after my grandpa) Alan (after DH dad) LN would likely call him Jack

Jacob (DH grandpa) Hausner LN.  Hausner is pronounced house-ner and is my mother's maiden name... I know it is not a typically used surname as a first name but the name will die out when my grandfather passes away as everyone on his side had girls...Would call him Jake.

 

Girls:

Lillian Joy (Joy has family significance, we just like Lillian) nn Lily

Rosemary Joy (Rosemary is my grandmother's name)

Personally I like Jacob Hausner & Rosemary Joy b/c of the heritage the hold.

From your boy's list I like John, and I really love Jack as a nickname for it. I prefer Rosemary over Lillian - it just seems a lot more interesting/refreshing since Lily is so popular right now.

Overall I love your names! Very classic.

hmm...i like all your picks too! John Alan is so strong, so I'm going to go with that. also bc i love Jack as a nn for John.

 And my vote goes to Rosemary Joy. b/c of the double family significance and its such a lovely and underus

I really like Jacob "Jake" Hausner.  Love that you want to use your maiden name as his middle name!

For the girls, I'm partial to Lillian Joy.
