Do you base milestones on the baby's birth date or due date? I keep seeing things that say base on the due date which is no fun because for things like the post suggesting fussiness peaks at 6 weeks, I get excited because my LO will be 7 weeks Friday...from her due date though

I'd say from birth. A lot of the milestones are a learned response to outside stimuli. I think the "from due date" idea only works if your LO is born premature. My 36 week DD and my 38 week DD met milestones at about the same age, even early on.

That's kind of what I was thinking too...I also meant to say she'll be 7 weeks from her birth date she was 2.5 weeks early

I'd say from birth, unless baby was a preemie, and then it's usually adjusted from the due date.
