I had blood work done yesterday and found out today my hCG level is at 8. I thought I was around 4 weeks but I may be a lot earlier than I thought. I'm going back in tomorrow for more blood work so hopefully Friday will show that my levels are increasing! Anyone else have very low hCG level at first and things turned out fine with the pregnancy?

One of my friends has her hcg tested and it was 7. Then two days later it was 110. She now has a very healthy little girl. I wouldn't worry until you see the next numbers. Like you said, you could just be really early. GL and KUP!

One number isn't really a good indicator of a viable pregnancy. She'll need the second draw to compare them and make sure the double time is appropriate. Good luck!

Me!  I'm still pregnant and baby has a heartbeat.  Betas don't always double in very early pregnancy.
