I've been cding my seven month old on mostly pockets and AIOs since she was born. About a month ago, I purchased the 6 pack Bummis organic prefolds and use them with wool covers. I really love using prefolds now and would like I add more to my stash. I'm looking for suggestions on what brands and types you like he most. Absorbency is the most important factor.. Are any brands better with this than others?

If you need a really absorbent prefold then you should try Imagine Bamboo Prefolds from Nickis Diapers. One prefold gets us through 12 hours at night! I have an average wetter but my cotton prefolds can't even come close to that. They're a tad more exp

We have GMD prefolds and really like them.  They are super soft and nicely absorbent.  I might have to try the bamboo prefolds though.

I use osocozy cotton prefolds because they're affordable. Can't speak for bamboo prefolds, but hemp is also an absorbant fiber.
