No ob/gyn in my podunk town will see me. Their response is that since I am not an established patient (we moved here shortly before seeing an RE), they won't treat me.
I was told my option was to go to the emergency room where the OB on call would see me.
I just need a freaking blood test, not emergency treatment.
I then tried to call my GP and he has left the practice and no one is able to take new patients.
I finally called my RE and a nurse called me back and it took me 15 minutes to convince them to order a beta for Friday.
Seriously, it's just a blood test. I am not trying to score painkillers here. On an already terrible day, I have spent alot of it begging for health care.

WHAT THE EFF?! OH my gosh that makes me so mad.
How do people get to be patients of that OB? They fill out a bunch of paperwork while sitting in a waiting room. That's how! Why won't they let you just do that?

That's infuriating. I don't understand why they would withhold a beta from you, for any reason, but particularly when it's important for your health. Does no one at the clinic see what the need is for the test? Have they never dealt with an ectopic bef
