Sippy Cup Help!

My 11.5 month old refuses to transition completely over to sippy cups. This is has been an on going battle for about 4 months now. She will take a few sips from the cup, which is good, but if she's really thirsty she refuses the sippy cup and cries until I give her a bottle. I have also bought about a dozen different brands, trying to figure out which one she might like more. Anyone else going through this or has gone through this that's willing to give some advice?! She turns 1 in 2 weeks and I refuse to still be cleaning bottles by then!

Have you tried the straw cups? What about just a regular old cup? I don't have issues with a sippy cup, but my LO loves drinking out of the straw cups and regular cups.

Im not near transitioning, but my DD went through a ton of sippy cups that she wouldn't even touch. I bought a Zoli cup with a straw and she figured it out in a day. She chugs her water with it. It was one of the best baby items I have found!

My LO wasn't a huge fan of the spout type of sippy cup, but is crazy for straws. She will use almost any type, but I prefer the Thinkbaby brand. No bad chemicals in the plastic, and pretty much the only one that she can pitch across the room and it never,

I just wanted to add that just an hour or two after I posted PP I gave him some warm milk in his Zoli and he sucked down six ounces! So maybe they giving warm milk first?
