Post Appt- stll waiting for results

Well tomorrow will be 3 wks since we found out we lost our baby boy. I just went to my post apt looking for answers and now I feel  more confused. The amnio came back good no abnormalities blood work came back good as well so I thought that was it. Nope still waiting on the results from the placenta to check for any further chromosome issues. I would have thought that if the amnio came back clean why would the placenta show different?

In the beginning of the apt I started to smile as we discussed the narrowing of the umbilical cord as the possible cause which would have been something of a fluke and should not happen again. I thought to myself well its terrible god awful what happen we were sooooo excited but happy to know that maybe just maybe it was a fluke. So when I asked the doc when would the results for the placenta come back.....she said she didn't know

Well I was hoping to be to move over to TTCAL board, but I think I need to wait even further.

Did any of you have a loss with chromosome issues? Did they tell you what the chances where for it to happen again?

We did lose our Baby Girl to Trisomy 18, and it did show up on the amino after she had already passed.  My Dr. has actually never seen one before and she has been

Hugs to you. We lost our daughter in September to a Trisomy as well. The initial tests were for Trisomy 18, 13 and 21 which were negative for our baby girl and it took longer to get her full diagnosis which was an extremely rare Trisomy. I believe we wait

So sorry for the loss of your boy. We didn't have chromosome issues, and they found no cause for our daughter's stillbirth. They tested her placenta and I think it took 3 weeks to come back? something like that.
