Drooling

My daughter who was 6 weeks Friday born 2.5 weeks early completely healthy has started drooling a lot starting yesterday and today is very fussy...may be nothing but was just curious if anyone else has experienced this or had any thoughts

    Yes, happened to us last week, and DD was 6 weeks last Thursday. I read online that the drool is because their salivary glands are now mature but their swallowing reflex is not. Which is good, because I was going to freak out if she was starting to teeth

    Was your little one really fussy too? I feel so bad she's usually not this fussy :...my doctors office said she may be teething! I'm hoping that's not true!

    DS1 drooled nonstop from the time he was 6 weeks until he was 2 years old, lol.
