Thanks for sharing. This looks like the first chapter of his book. I just picked it up from the library the other day. I'm only a few pages in, but I'm excited to read more. The book was published in 1998 (I didn't see what the date on the article was)

I am an only child myself. Nobody ever instinctively knew that, and would actually be surprised that I was if they made some dumbass comment about only children and I called them on it. I have spent years reassuring
