I am having a very difficult time with my two kiddos in the evening. Trying to getthe older one in bed while simultaneously tending to a fussy 6 week old is really hard! I hate it but a lot of times the baby just ends up doing a lot of crying while I tend to the older one and occasionally will CIO unintentionally. Is this just how it is with the second? Any tips to help me balance things and get everyone, myself included, in bed at a decent hour?

We are not much farther along than you, but DS2 is now 11 weeks old, and it has gotten easier. Now DS2 is pretty reliable at falling asleep around 7-7:30, so we get him to sleep and then I do bedtime with DS1. DH helps a lot with DS2 though
