My child is going to be born nameless!!!

This week we are tossing around the idea of naming here Ainsley. Thoughts? DS is Barrett.

Barrett and Ainsley. Yes/no?

My lo's middle name is Ainsley, so I give two thumbs up! It goes nicely with Barrett IMO.

I really dislike Ainsley. It reminds me of ainus, and I know five Ainsley's born in the last three or so years.

What about: Evelry, Isla, Delaney, Kendall, Fiona, Teagan, Harper, Maisie, Piper, Quinn?

I like it as a name, but it does seem to be a bit unisex to me. I've known female Ainsleys but also males, Ainsley Harriet being the most famous. I'd just be prepared for people not to know immediately which greeting to use...Mr. or Ms.

I don't understand how you can get anus from Ainsley.

I say it ains-Lee, whereas I pronounce the word Ane-us. They aren't even remotely similar.

It's DD's name so I obviously love it. She is super spunky and happy and fun and her name just fits her. We get a lot of compliments. It's not super popular on this board, but it's a pretty, underused name IMO.
