The clutter. It is killing me

What sort of storage do you all use to keep all the STUFF contained?  My H and I had a talk this weekend and we are going to put away about 80% of C's toys.  We are keeping her wooden blocks,Mega Bloks, her sorting cubes, the Little People school bus and dump truck she has and that's it (well books of course).  What do you all use to store toys?  Since we spend the bulk of our time in the living room we just keep everything there so I really struggle with finding nice looking storage that will fit into our decor without screaming that a toddler lives here.  I get so frustrated with all of the storage bins that are primary colored with light wood because it doesn't match anything in our house.
