Okay so now what I was planning to post this AM. Saturday was my all day birthing class. I found it quite enjoyable. My FI and mom were there. To my surprise my FI was VERY into it. I expected him to be cranky all day since he only had 2 hours of sleep (He is a chef and gets off late then stays up late) and had to go to work right after. But instead he was so into my breathing efforts and birthing positions. Since we don't usually spend all day together he got to feel the baby a lot that day, which was amazing.
I do want a natural birth and this hospital seems very into it. Of course they have their epidurals and inducing. But unlike the original hospital I was going to they do not allow inducing for convenience, or c-sections for that matter. That made me feel good that they wouldn't pressure me. She even talked about how one thing leads to another which could possibly lead to a c-section if an emergency arises. I did ask about delayed cord clamping and they do that as well!
So I'm a happy camper.
Anyone going to a class, I hope you find it just as enjoyable as we did.
