Small SUV owners where are you putting the carseat? I drive a honda crv and have it in the middle now, but to get it in/out, I need to get into the car, which seems totally impractical...thoughts?

I drive an escape. Car seat is in the middle, and yes I have to climb in and out to get to it, but it's the safest place for baby.

I have a Honda CRV as well and put the car seat in the middle. As PP said, it is the safest place. I took my car seat to a clinic put on by the California Highway Patrol at that is what they reccomend. It is a little inconvenient though.
