So, I have this friend who I work with. She has really low self-esteem and has always worried about her weight. She is nowhere near being obese, but is probably about 15-20 pounds "overweight". I use quotations because I have never considered her to be overweight, but I'm sure according to some chart, she is. Anyway, we have always talked about our weight struggles. About a month and a half ago, she told me she was tired of not losing any weight and was going to get a prescription for diet pills. I was at a loss for words because, personally, I don't think they are a good idea. She started taking them a month ago, and has lost 18 pounds. She will go a day without eating and has told me she has tons of energy. Here's my judgement, she posted on FB how she's lost x amount of weight in x amount of days. When people commented asking how she has done it, she replied that she's cut out junk, cut down on eating, exercising, etc. I'm reading it, going seriously?! You're on diet pills! It's just annoying that she's acting like she's doing all this stuff and in reality, she's taking these pills. It's none of my business and I'm really jealous of the fact that she's lost so much weight in a short of time, but I really judge the fact that she's bragging on herself and lying about how she's doing it.
