My 3 month old gets a rash everytime she eats, however, it goes away within 5 minutes after feeding. She has no other symptoms that concerns me. The rash is only on her face, neck and head. They are small red bumps and some of the bumps have white head on them. I did go off dairy and the rash seemed to go away. But then the Doc had me go back on it and the rash came back. I am assuming it is a milk allergy but her only symptom is the rash.
Has anyone experienced this as well? I guess my question is do I continue to go dairy free? Or is the rash something else since she has no other signs of an allergy and the rash does not bother her at all? My doctor said she has never really seen this before. I just wish I knew if by eating dairy I am causing harm to her even if she is not acting like it bothers her.
Re: Milk Rash??
my next door neighbor has this same exact issue. But she decided to keep him on dairy since this is the only reaction.
