Question/Intro

Hello.  My name is Stephanie and I just have a question for clarification.  I did fertility treatments after trying to conceive for 9 years.  After a year, we were successful.  Our DS will be two in June.  We have an appointment with our RE on Monday to try and start trying for a second child.  My DH & I are both 38 so older. I wish we had gone to the RE sooner in the process, but was told by our OB/GYN they would give us the same meds as the RE-Clomid.  If only I knew what I do now back then.  Not even close.  My OB/GYN did not track my hormone levels like the RE.  The first step at the RE was clomid and with the monitoring they realized clomid did not help me.  We switched over to Follistim and Ovidrel.  If I remember we did two IUI's.  The third time we were going to do the IUI, we couldn't make it to the dr and got very lucky on our own.  

At first I posted on Infertility Veterans but told I could not participate there.  I have lurked on Infertility and then discovered this board.  I assume this is the correct board for fertility treatments the second time around now that I discovered it.  I just want to make sure that I would be welcome here and am in the correct place now as we start the process again.  TIA.
