DH and I each have large sedans. Just curious how you position your car seats for 2u2? Do you position the youngest in the middle or do you keep them on opposite sides so the eldest doesn't poke/touch the youngest? DD has her convertible car seat and when DS arrives he will have the infant car seat. Appreciate any tips!

We have DD1 rear facing in the convertible seat behind the driver. DD2 is in the infant seat in the middle. DD1 can't reach DD2 to poke or touch her.
I have an Explorer.
We could not fit them side by side in our car, so there is one on each side. DD1 was RFing behind driver in the convertible seat, DD2 was RFing behind the passenger in the infant seat.

When DD was still in the infant seat, she was in the middle and DD was behind the drivers seat. Now that she's in a convertible, she's behind the passenger seat and DS is still behind the driver.
I have a Traverse.
Right now we will have them on opposite sides of the car. DD will be 18months when DS comes in June, so she will still be RF. DH is tall, so the driver's seat (he always drives) needs to be pretty far back and DD's seat doesn't fit behind it in the RFi
