Walking with foot turned out?

My LO has only very recently started to walk- and this is with her push walker. She has been standing for a long time just fine. I noticed that when she is walking, she turns one foot out to the side (about 45-65 degrees). Is this something normal that is just part of the learning process, or should I be doing something now to encourage her to place that foot straight? She places her whole foot on the floor, it's just turned. TIA!

my LO was doing the same thing when he started walking with support. my LO has a PT due to some torticollis issues and his therapist said it is because his hip was weak on one side. she basically said to keep turning his foot forward and have him use that

Thanks for the response! Although my LO doesn't have any other issues that might contribute to the turned foot, I am definitely going to do these exercises with her and hope to see some improvement soon! She already crawls like a maniac so hopefully a lit
