Car seat adapter

We just got the Baby Jogger City Mini GT for our little girl who will be born in a few weeks. The Baby Jogger website lists that because the stroller reclines to almost completely flat, that you can use the stroller with an infant without a car seat. They do recommend some extra padding by adding a snuzzler or something like that. Has anyone used this stroller for an infant without the car seat adapter? Or is it better to purchase the infant car seat adapter to use for the first few months?

  • I've used several strollers from birth that fully recline. The snuzzler is fine, but not really necessary. Lots of people on here will say "omg, the convenience" with being able to use the car seat with it, but I personally didn't find it convenient. F

  • I think it depends a lot on your lifestyle. Will you be out and about in and out of the car a lot with your little one? If so then it might be worth it. But for longer walks from home laying flat in the stroller is better.

  • I bought the double when my DS was born and put him directly in the stroller at a couple weeks old.  I did use a Snuzzler.  I was perfectly comfortable doing so.
