Visiting InLaws...

My mother in law has 4 other grandchildren from her step children however Christopher is her first "blood" grandchild. FYI I hate putting it that way but my MIL refers to being a first time grandmother for this reason.

We are both two different people and I have grown to respect our differences and move on. Whenever she comes to visit or we go visit her she wants to hold my son ALL THE TIME!!!!! If he's awake and I'm not breastfeeding him she'll ask for him as if I'm not there!!! Don't get me wrong its nice to have a break here and there but I enjoy being around my son and holding him. No matter if he's crying, wailing, sleeping or just a content little baby I love being around him and comforting him? It's starting to get to the point where I'm just going to start asking for him back!!! Yes, I know I'm with him 25/8 but its still not enough!! Especially since I found out I have to go back to work earlier than I thought in order to secure a spot in a closer office. My time with my son is priceless and that's partially why I want to be with him nonstop. Has anyone else found themselves in this situation? I know I need to learn to let go and I have but that still doesn't take away me wanting to be with my son at this young of an age.

    Actually it's nice to have

  • Imaging living with that. I live with my mil and she's constantly asking or was. One say he was fussy and I was sad because of mr. being gone and I flat out said no. She stopped asking after that and I now have to ask her to hold him if I need to go to th
