Ultrasound Update

So......

We are having a boy!

We got to see expectant mom today and her parents. They were really nice--- We met at a Starbucks, and then walked across the street to the dr's office. She was only allowed 2 people in the ultrasound at a time, so when she came out and told us that I insisted that her parents go in with her first (that seems only right---she's their kid...), then we went in. OMG. Amazing. We talked in between times with her mom and dad--- about her pregnancy, about how they feel about open adoption etc... it all seems to be ok--- letting myself trust that it's really going to be ok---is hard---but so far, it does seem good. Her Mom was talking about how they are planning to rent a family beach house very soon after the birth to get her out of her apartment and surrounded by family. Which sounds like a good idea if she is amenable to it. We had brunch and at the end her mom hugged us and said "It's a good match"

So. Baby Boy. And another ultrasound in a month!
