hi, for those of you who employ a nanny, what is the pay rate? we are looking to hire a part-time nanny and want to know what a fair pay rate is. thanks
We have a full time nanny (kind of we drop LO off at her house since she lives right by my place of work) and she gets paid $400 for the month, but we live in SD and prices are probably a lot lower out here.
We live in the Los Angeles area. We paid our nanny $14/hour for one child, and when we had our second, we paid her $16/hour. She then started talking to other nannies in the area and asked for (more like demanded) a raise, and we bumped her
Yeah, definitely highly dependent on where you live. We live in Portland OR, and pay $14/hr for a very part time (~12 hours a week) nanny for our one kid.
We pay 10 dollars an hour for 2 kids. We have had a few nanny's good and bad so with this one we set it up to start at 10 dollars an hour but to reevaluate at 3 months and if everything is good pay 12 dollars an hour. We live just south of Seattl
Well, our last nanny we paid $10 an hour and it worked out great. She was awesome but is moving. But apparently she was a find. Today we interviewed for a new nanny and for 30 hours per week she basically wanted $1700 per month...
