A colleague I speak to on the phone frequently just called to congratulate me and then mentioned that she has 2 kids and she's been meaning to get together a group of women in our industry that have small kids. My job works late hours and often has nighttime commitments as well. I'm the first person in my company to ever have a kid, and I honestly didn't know that many women (maybe 4?) in my industry with kids. She was just so supportive over the phone and we're seeing each other next week so she said we can talk all about being a working mom in our industry when we see each other.
It was just so sweet and I have been so nervous about how I was going to handle my job and a baby, I honestly almost started crying.

Awesome that you will have someone that understands what is involved in being a working mom in your industry!
It was really nice that she reached out!
