Inflatable tub?

Other than if you were traveling - can you think of why one might use an inflatable tub vs. the hard plastic tubs?  TIA.

  • When DD1 was sitting fine, but I was not ready for her to be in the big tub we used the inflatable ducky tub.  She loved it and I felt better that if she fell over, she would land on air, and not crack her head on the tub.  Paranoid? sure, but w

  • We used the inflatable duck tub when DD started wanting to sit up in the tub but was too little to sit in the regular tub.  Around 7 months - 11 months?   Kept the toys near her and we both enjoyed tubs a lot more.

  • Exactly what the others said. They're good for when baby outgrows an infant tub but doesn't need to have the whole bathtub yet. Saves water, keeps the toys close by, gives a little bit of a cushion if the kid falls over. I have the toddler size inflatable
