Couldn't sleep last night...

I'm just so stressed over the upcoming birth.  My c-section is less than 2 weeks away, and I have no reason to think that we won't make it until then, but I'm so worried about what will happen if we don't that I could not sleep last night.  I was just crying and crying over it (probably the pregnancy hormones are partly to blame there too).  I just don't know what we'd do if we had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night like last time.  Or even if I have to go in the middle of the day and ended up laboring for a long time.  I would probably end up having this baby by myself since DH would need to take care of our 2 year old daughter. I might even have to drive myself to the hospital.  We do have a couple of good friends in town who are willing to help out, but they have to work and most of them have their own kids to take care of too.  The ones who don't have their own kids, don't really spend any time with my daughter and so she doesn't know them, and I think she might freak out if left alone with them.  On top of that I'm nervous about the c-section itself, even though I've been through it before!  (I personally think one should be nervous ANY time one has to get cut open, anywhere on one's person).

Appreciate any prayers and good wishes that this little guy stays put for another couple weeks!

Sorry I don't have advice for the anxiety of the csection. If your last one was an emergency I have heard a non emergent one is much easier. I have had a couple other surgeries though and yes I remember being very nervous but these doctors do this all t

I agree-- nighttime is the WORST time to start thinking about anything but sexy men vacuuming your house and making you breakfast in bed or little fuzzy bunnies snuggling you.
