swelling... but NUMB FACE??

I called my dr immediately this morning... talked to nurse... they don't seem too overly concerned that my face feels numb - but waiting to hear back after nurse talks to the dr to see if I need to go to ER.

I've had crazy allergies in the past before getting pregnant.... so I dunno... but I haven't eaten anything different. Hopefully I'm not suddenly allergic to cereal and soy milk!! ugh.

Anyone else have numb cheeks and feel like they went to the dentist???

Trying to remain calm. I've dealt with the super swollen feet and ankles but this is really starting to worry me a lil... I think I dread more the possibility of having to go to ER.... Nurse said my BP has been normal but yeah.... sitting... waiting...

I've had facial numbness from iron deficiency related panic attacks as well as from b12 deficiency. Maybe it's one of those things? Good luck!

Still waiting to hear from dr.... nurse did mention that it could be bells palsy... I looked up the symptoms and it sounds about right :c When i talk or smile, the left side of my face droops weird. ughhhhhhhhh.... Can I just have the swollen feet/ankles

I haven't had numbness, prayers yours goes away.  That sounds scary.  Maybe go to a drug store and see if you can check your bp.  Otherwise, maybe be persistent if you are getting really worried.  Good luck.

UPDATE:

They called me back and nurse was starting to say it was probably just allergies but when I told her about the drooping left side of my face that I had not noticed until a co-worker pointed it out... she said then said it could be Bell's
