Too similar?

Obviously I have a long way to go before worrying about this, but if this baby is a boy dh wants to use Rhett in the name. It's his father's name and his middle name so it's important to him. I don't mind it as a middle name but not crazy about it as a first name. That being said, I really love the name Elliot! Does Elliot Rhett sound too matchy together? Our last name rhymes with fisher.

Yea, Elliott Rhett sounds silly, Elliott Everett is slightly better.

You could use Everett as the first name and Rhett as the nickname.

I think it's fine, but if it bugs you too much, add a second middle name between them.

I do think its a bit matchy/rhymey together HOWEVER when it comes to honor names, I dont think it really matters. Middle names aren't used very often, he may use his middle initial but that wont cause any issues. Generally the only person who uses the fir
