XP- DS only wants bottles

This is a cross-post from the breastfeeding board for any April mamas still nursing.

My DS will be 12 months old next week, and in the last couple of days, he's refusing to nurse. He will drink BM ravenously from bottles, however. He'll ask to eat at the times we normally nurse, but then he'll either cry and refuse to latch or simply bite down on me. Several months ago, he was constantly biting me while nursing, but after pulling him off and saying "no," he stopped, for the most part. Also, about a month ago, he did the same thing as now (refusing to nurse, but drinking bottles) and I fixed it by ditching the Boppy and nursing him propped up higher. Right now, I'm pumping to keep up. To complicate things, we discovered he had a milk protein allergy at 8 weeks old, and although I reintroduced dairy into my own diet several months ago, we have yet to test him with direct dairy. So, moving to WCM may be out, depending on how he reacts. Any advice would be appreciated!
